About

I am an orchestral, chamber, and solo flutist who has performed across the East Coast in venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Jordan Hall, and St John The Divine. I spent the last two years in Boston and Providence obtaining my Master's in Flute Performance at the New England Conservatory. Prior to this, I lived in New York City, studied at the Manhattan School of Music, and attended Barnard College. I performed as principal flutist for the Enigma Chamber Opera, the Claremont Chamber Orchestra, and Vocal Production NYC's opera orchestra. I also headlined a series of solo flute recitals in Jamestown, NY and Saint Simons Georgia during this time, as well as appearing as a featured soloist to perform with the Columbia University Orchestra(performing the concerto "Poem for Flute and Orchestra"). I program my recitals with the intent of sharing works from a wide variety of time periods and composer backgrounds in order to engage and broaden the experience of my audience.

Music

The french romantic and impressionist periods (Faure, Debussy, Bozza) are personal favorites of mine. However, exploring the contemporary genre and working with living composers has become an essential interest of mine most recently; I have found great joy in the diversity of stories to be told and the abundance of creativity in this sphere.
