Liszt. Dante Sonata

I chose this program because all of those pieces are wonderfully connected by either being written as fantasies, or in the fantasy-like, improvisatory form. Playing all these pieces, I have a feeling that a performer feels like improvising on the spot when playing them - the structure is not rigid, and all the changes between musical thoughts are very spontaneous and fluid. I believe a program like this suits the informal atmosphere of this kind of concerts very well.
