Join us for our first (!!!) Groupmuse as we survey a history of melody: from the immortal Bach Cello Suites to Saariaho's poetically schizophrenic song cycle, "From the Grammar of Dreams." In this program, three voices, cello, and vibraphone will play separately and together, deploying classical conventions as well as extended techniques. Oh, and did we mention we'll be in the most beautiful, bougie interior ever? Definitely ask us about it in the Q&A post-performance.
We've put a lot of work into this program and we're thrilled to have this platform to share it.
