About
Anna Leone, is one of the most prized guitarists of her generation in Brazil. She started playing guitar when she was seven years old, mostly Brazilian music, and later on in her life, she dedicated her studies to classical music. Performing as a soloist throughout Brazil, USA and Finland, Anna also participated on TV and radio concerts, dedicating most of her repertoire to Latin American and Spanish classical music.
Having participated in many competitions in Brazil, USA and Europe, Anna has received over twelve prizes during her career. She also obtained two masters degree in classical guitar performance, one from James Madison University and another from Sibelius Academy (Finland). Currently, she is pursuing the DMA program at Stony Brook University, under Joao Luiz Rezende's orientation.
