About

Amy Ahn is principal harpist of the Stockton Symphony and an award-winning solo harpist. She is known for being a versatile artist—as a multi-genre performing harpist, singer, songwriter and devoted educator. Most recently, Amy was awarded third prize in the Young Professional division of the American Harp Society National Competition and won a top prize in the Busan Maru International Music Festival Concerto Competition. She has held substitute and principal positions with the San Francisco Ballet, Boston Lyric Opera, Modesto Symphony, Monterey Symphony, and Boston Civic Orchestra. She earned degrees from UCLA, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
