I began piano lessons at the age of four in my hometown of Madison, Wisconsin, continued my high school studies at Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, and moved to New York City in 2013 to study with Pavlina Dokovska at Mannes College the New School for Music, where I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Piano Performance with a full-tuition merit scholarship. My training, coupled with the benevolence of others and a lot of good luck, have allowed me to concertize in Europe, Asia, and throughout the United States. While I fill my diet with a wide range of repertoire, I get the most pleasure out of playing music written between the early twentieth century and the present day -- a musical landscape that, for me, transcends the mundane and rises to the ethereal. Having just returned to New York City after nearly two years at sea performing aboard Holland America Line’s ships as part of Lincoln Center Stage quartets, I am accompanying at the Kaufman Center’s Special Mu
