Nicole Faghihi
Piano
About
Nicole Faghihi grew up in a small town on the Puget Sound in Washington where, at a young age, she was introduced to piano – it became her life’s passion. Nicole has lived, worked, and studied piano in San Francisco since coming to the area as a student attending the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. It was there that she made herself well known for her interpretive ability and love of 20th century music. Since receiving her Bachelors of Music, Nicole has evolved into an accomplished pianist, accompanist, and teacher.
Nicole earned the position of pianist for the San Francisco Conservatory New Music Ensemble under direction of Joan Gallegos, where she was a featured soloist as well as ensemble player. She has also worked with Maestro Urs Leonhart Steiner and the Golden Gate Symphony and Chorus as a featured soloist in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasie, and Franz Liszt’s Totentanze. She has worked as accompanist for the Goldengate Chorus for the past 8 years, works ranging from Beethoven
