About

Lydia Paulos (she/her) is a Berlin based cellist. A recent transplant from New York, she enjoys playing for a wide range of genres, from classical, to folk & indie, to punk, to experimental film scoring & musical theater. She's toured with indie bands and large theater productions alike, and you can find her work with various recording artists on Spotify. She also worked as the cellist in the resident classical duo on a Holland America cruise ship at the end of 2022, where she and pianist Luka Marinkovich presented classical programming every day for the ship's passengers. She graduated from New York University in 2018 with a degree in Music Performance, where she studied with New York Philharmonic associate principal cellist Patrick Jee.

Music

classical, folk, indie, contemporary or new music, theater (musical theater and opera) - I enjoy playing a wide variety of styles and composers, from Bach to Caroline Shaw, and everything in between.
