Pascal Innocenti
Violin
About
Pascal is a versatile Chicago-based violinist who is adept in many styles from Classical to Jazz, Baroque and Contemporary. His playing has been called “reverent” by the Chicago Tribune. Originally from Monaco, he studied in Paris before attending the Aspen Music Festival and Cincinnati Conservatory for his Masters in violin performance. He has enjoyed teaching and performing in the Chicago area since 2008 with groups such as Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, Civic Orchestra, and Baroque Band. His recording credits with Cedille Records include a CD with Baroque Band and a recording with Rachel Barton Pine as well as collaborations with his Jazz Trio “Voila”. His performance career has included appearances live on WFMT, and as a soloist with L’Orchestre Philharmonic de Monaco. He is the Founder of innocentistrings.com Besides his violin playing, Pascal is an accomplished endurance athlete. He is an Ironman finisher and has completed many marathons, with a smile:)
Music
Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, as well as contemporary composers. I love performing baroque repertoire and fun arrangements of traditional and contemporary tunes.
