About

Hello, Groupmuse!

I am a lute and theorbo player currently based out of Iowa City, Iowa. These instruments and their repertoire are incredibly unique, and I love sharing them with audiences all over. As an early plucked musician, Groupmuse is the perfect platform for my art since this music was intended for small audiences and small spaces. I look forward to creating an intimate and immersive performance experience with you!

Music

As a soloist, I play primarily Baroque music for lute and theorbo, with some dalliances into the Renaissance. Composers include Weiss, Gallot, Conradi, Kapsberger, de Visee, Dowland, and others. I also explore the small but growing canon of contemporary theorbo music by composers such as Stephen Goss and David Loeb.
