I've studied both western classical and eastern classical music, sometimes referred to as modal music. I've also studies composition and arrangement (music minor) and have composed scored for film and theatrical productions. My areas of interest are ethnomusicology and the comparative analysis of regional folk music, and they way it shapes other genres.
