My name is Jacob Johnson. I'm a classical guitarist based in DFW. I've been a featured performer at the Dallas Museum of Art and the Kimbell Art Museum, and I've been interviewed on High Plains Public Radio. I frequently perform for private events around north Texas, and I was a featured performer at the 2021 and 2022 Deep Ellum Arts Festival.

In 2017 I performed an international solo concert tour as a lutenist, and in 2022 I performed as a lute soloist with the Orchestra of New Spain.

In 2022, I was awarded grants from several local arts organizations to complete my debut album, "The Ghosts of Dawn", which was released at the end of June 2023. Since its release a little over a month ago, my album has been streamed over 63,000 times. Music

I play a wide variety of repertoire from the 16th century to the present day, including music for renaissance lute and classical guitar. I specialize in performing on historical plucked string instruments, including an original early romantic guitar built in Vienna circa 1830.
