- Arranged by Aaron Larget-Caplan
“Aaron Larget-Caplan is a riveting artist”, writes the Washington Post, and the Boston Musical Intelligencer says he has “astounding technical proficiency and artistic delicacy”. Aaron Larget-Caplan is an international recording and touring guitarist, who connects with audiences with Bernstein-esque ease. Aaron has premiered over 80 compositions, many written for him, and his groundbreaking arrangements of the music of John Cage are published by Edition Peters. His recordings are available on Albany, Navona and Stone Records, and he is on faculty at University of Massachusetts Boston and formerly Boston Conservatory. Aaron is to receive the Médaille D’Etain (Pewter Medal) from the Société Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres de France in June; an award with over 100 years of history, and not being a French citizen as of yet, this is quite an honor.
