Host

We excitedly welcome back our Presenting Partner, A Far Cry for 4 fabulous Nights Out offerings this 2024-25 season! Groupmuse community members have exclusive reduced price access to these incredible concerts at 45% or more off. What an amazing deal!

Here's what A Far Cry has to say about this concert's program:
"Called “a phenomenon” by the Los Angeles Times, pianist Stewart Goodyear joins the Criers for a season finale highlighting works from some of the brightest stars of their generations. Franz Schreker's lush and romantic Intermezzo & Scherzo emerges shimmering, followed by Goodyear’s own Eclipse for Piano & String Orchestra: a work that mesmerizes like a celestial event. Felix Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Piano & String Orchestra in A minor follows, showcasing the composer’s youthful brilliance and intricate interplay between piano and strings. The concert concludes with Teresa Carreño’s Serenade for Strings; a work imbued with warmth and elegance, providing a perfect ending to a stellar season."

And in the classic Groupmuse fashion, there will be time for our Groupmusers to socialize afterwards! Each ticket includes a free wine and dessert post-concert reception at Jordan Hall immediately after each show. <3

Seating will be assigned. Please pick up your tickets at Will Call prior to the concert's start time.
