The Witches are rising again.
Power structures all over the world have always tried to eliminate them. A multitude of social "misfits" have been cast as witches throughout history, from holistic healers, to men who love other men, to those who seek communion with the Earth. Evil, supernatural, satanic - these labels has justified unspeakable hate crimes unimaginably vast in their impact - setting our civilization back who knows how far by demonizing the strange, and backing it into corners.
But two musical Witches are reclaiming their space, reconnecting proudly with strangeness, channeling the Divine Feminine, and not a minute too soon.
And so we Massivemuse.
Joined by a premiere string quartet from Baltimore, the Bergamot Quartet, they will bring the audience on a journey of enchanting sounds.
Who are The Witches? I guess you’ll have to come Massivemuse to find out. Don’t worry, our dear friends Bach and Mozart will be there too…
Bring your blankets, your floor pillows, your pointy black hats. MÔTÔ Spirits, the rad Bushwick-based distillery will be our sacred space for the night. And we’ll see you there!
