Groupmuse is all about expanding the classical music community. For the most part, that means bring in audience members that don’t look like your typical classical music-goer. But we truly believe it’s just as important to broaden the other side of the divide — the musical offering — presenting voices of this tradition that have, for too long, been at the margins.
And so, for International Women's Day (March 8th), we’re doing our best to rise to that challenge once again, with a Women’s Day Massivemuse in the Grand Style. We’ve got a spectacular all-women string trio, ready with a program of (mostly) women composers, to express the love, depth, and beauty the other half of our great species is capable of manifesting when she wields the composer’s pen.
Our favorite stoping grounds, The Short Story Collective in Venice throws open its doors once again — so it’s BYOB, and BYOBlanket/floor pillow/yoga mat/whatever-your-rear-end desires!
Tickets are $20 and we can’t wait to see you there.
