Mosa Tsay. Cellist extraordinaire. The most prolific groupmuser in our history. And she's now, officially, a coast-to-coast Massivemuse impresario.
That's right. Her 8-cello bash at a chocolate factory in Brooklyn, which became the fastest selling Massivemuse ever, is crash landing on the Best Coast. Covo, a beautiful co-working space right in SoMa, is our home for the night, and 8 cellos are our entertainment and our salvation.
Mosa will be joined by the cellists of the Celloscape Collective, as they tell the tune-tales of Heitor Villa Lobos and Giovanni Sollima, and also the international premiere of Scott Rubin's new piece featuring not just 8 cellos, but also a dancer and electronics.
Drinks are available for purchase and tickets are $20.
It's hard to explain just how awesome this Massivemuse will be.
Enjoy it, SF!
