What's the music?
Join us for an evening of violin and piano music featuring:
The Violin Sonata by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns (Allegro agitato & Adagio)
A selection from Astor Piazzolla’s "History of Tango", exploring the evolution of this iconic genre
We will also present "Bahar" by Nami Nazar, inspired by the Iranian folk song "Bahar-e Delneshin," a piece that evokes the spirit of spring and renewal, reflecting the emotional connection to the season and its themes of hope and joy.
Additionally, Ava Nazar will perform selections from her upcoming album, set for release this summer. The album features works by women composers from Iran, including Nina Barzegar, Yassaman Behbahani, and Ava herself.
