Excited to be back hosting on the West side. The Vilna Trio attended our last Groupmuse and we are thrilled to have them perform in our home. Natalia and I are both artists with an eclectic circle of creative friends. We look forward to you joining us.
What's the music?
Vilna Trio specializes in adapting piano trio repertoire to their unique instrumentation, bringing a fresh sound to some remarkable music including works by Shostakovich and Turina, heard like never before. The program also features works by Scriabin specially arranged for an even more unique surprise instrumentation by the bassoonist and filmmaker Daniel Goldblum for his upcoming film "The Old World".
