NEW - In case of rain, the concert will move to a nearby indoor location.
Join Ukranian Cellist Valeriya Sholokova and a string quartet to discover the classical music heritage of Ukraine. Over the recent months, many Ukrainian cultural institutions have come under direct attack - a deliberate attack on the heart of Ukrainian identity. In this program, we will explore beautiful and moving string quartet music of Ukraine’s leading yet under-represented composers whose music will take audience members from the Folk to the Romantic, from the contemplative to the inspiring and hopeful.
All Proceeds will support Kyiv Contemporary Music Days https://www.kcmd.eu which provide support musicians in Ukraine during the war.
Swing by for an electrifying and healing sunset concert - Audience members are welcome to bring blankets or lawn chairs for their comfort, some snacks and a fun beverage, to make the experience extra special!
Family or date night friendly.
Location: near West 63rd street entrance to Central Park. Exact address will be provided to registered groupmusers on the three hours before the concert!
