I'd like to welcome back Evren Ozel for an evening of classical piano.
Evren played here a year ago in an all-Chopin program preparing for the National Chopin Competition (USA). His achievement there led him to the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw this past October.
Fortunately for us, Evren is back in Boston this term, finishing his degree at New England Conservatory, and is joining us Saturday Dec 11th presenting a program of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Rachmaninoff.
On street parking is available.
There will be some beverages and snacks. Feel free to bring your favorite drink.
What's the music?
CHOPIN:
Mazurkas, Op. 56
RACHMANINOFF:
Variations on a Theme by Corelli, Op. 42
BACH:
Prelude and Fugue in F Major, BWV 880 (WTC II)
BEETHOVEN:
Sonata No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111
