Join acclaimed jazz vocalist Vanisha Gould in a special concert celebrating the life, activism and music of the great Nina Simone.
Along with a spectacular ensemble, Ms. Gould will explore songs Nina Simone made famous, such as Feeling Good and Ainβt Got No, and will also highlight the groundbreaking contribution of Nina Simone to the civil rights movement using her art for activism.

Vanisha is renowned in New York's music scene for her jazz and blues finesse. This California native followed her passion for jazz and its culture to the Big Apple. Inspired by legends such as Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sarah Vaughan, Vanisha "has curated her own sound and has performed on some of New Yorkβs best stages."
