Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debusy... we all love them, but why?
Although I am primarily a performer with 10 released albums under my belt, I have been collaborating with neuroscientists to learn why/how/how much music helps us to enhance our well-being and sociability. In this concert, we'll enjoy our piano favorites and explore music as an overlooked resource that can help us reduce stress, manage pain, and see how what we share is greater than our differences!
What's the music?
Health organizations like WHO and NIH agrees that music effectively enhance our well-being. It helps us reduce our stress, manage our pain, and induces many beneficial hormones, including oxytocin - the so-called "love hormone" helping us see how what we share is greater than our differences.
So how do we incorporate music in our lives to maximize its benefit? In this program, "Dr. Pianist" will show you some ways of actively engaging with the piano favorites to maximize its benefits.
