About

Tara Rozanski is a professional flutist and piccoloist. She maintains an active
career as a soloist, chamber musician, professor, and orchestral musician. Tara is known for her expressive and creative takes on otherwise traditional music. As a piccolo specialist, she has a passion for the
progression of piccolo as a solo and ensemble instrument. She also has diverse
knowledge and experience performing in multiple musical genres.
Tara can be seen performing with various professional orchestras and
chamber ensembles like the Bay Atlantic Symphony, Bel Canto Lyric Opera of Philadelphia and along
with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has performed at many
notable venues including Carnegie Hall and the Mann Center.
2024-2025 offers Tara the opportunity to continue her passion of collaborative work with living composers with three commissions in store for the next year. She is a graduate of Peabody Institute (GPD piccolo, 2023), and University of Delware (Masters in flute)
