About
“A young American concert pianist who has been making waves on both sides of the Atlantic with her moving performances...” (Lynn News, England)
AnnaLotte Smith internationally concertizes as a versatile soloist and avid chamber musician highlighting the classical canon and collaborating with contemporary composers. After making her orchestral solo debut at age 12 she successfully competed at multiple international competitions most notably winning the Grand Prix at the Second Baden Württemberg International Piano Competition in Germany.
She has been featured in a variety of international festivals such as the seminal Bach300 Festival in 2023 celebrating the legacy of 300 years of Bach in Leipzig Germany. Her performance work often takes her off the stage for collaborative projects with hospitals and refugees as well as work on film sets where she most recently won Best First Time Producer (2023) at the New York International Film Festival.
Music
I create a blend of programs drawing compositional inspiration from my German heritage, my love of colorful French music inspired my synesthesia, as well a mix of living composers. I deeply enjoy exploring the classical canon while also highlighting the contributions of female composers.
