About
Originally from Berkeley, California, Anna began studying the violin and viola at the Crowden Music Center. During her time there, she became a founding member of the Meraki Quartet, appeared on NPR’s From The Top, in multiple concerts sponsored by SF Performances, and placed third at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. She has continued to pursue chamber music during her collegiate studies, and is currently a member of the USC Thornton Chamber Virtuosi.
Anna regularly performs with the Downey and Pacific Symphonies, and has been a member of the USC principal pool for four years. She was a finalist in the 2023 Thornton Concerto Competition, and was selected as one of the outstanding graduates of the USC Thornton School of Music’s class of 2024, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s of music degree in violin performance. Currently, Anna is continuing her studies at USC with Glenn Dicterow, in pursuit of her Master’s of Music degree.
Music
I typically perform western classical music, with a focus in chamber and solo performance. I also have performed and recorded in other genres, including jazz and pop music.
