About

Known for her sterling musicality and shimmering voice, soprano Katherine Cecelia Peck lives in New York City where she is an avid soloist and chorister. In spring of 2015, she is singing the soprano solos in Handel's Messiah, and will be giving recitals in April and May. Katherine “K.C.” Peck received a Masters Degree in in Voice Performance at Boston University in May of 2014. A Wisconsin native, she earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. K.C. most recently sang the roles of Laetitia in Arthur Sullivan’s The Zoo with Utopia Opera and Miss Wordsworth in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring with the Brevard Janiec Opera Company. K.C. is a versatile performer, and has a particular interest in art song and early music repertoire, as well as contemporary works.
