Charlie is a classically trained pianist with a deep passion for the art of singing, proper piano technique, as well as the complete musician experience. Based in New York City, Charlie is a proud graduate of the accelerated Chapman University BM ( the only double major - piano performance and Keyboard Collaborative arts degree ) and MM program at The Manhattan School of Music.

At Manhattan School of Music where he studied under the tutelage of Kenneth Merrill. Previously, he attended Chapman University where he studied under Paul Floyd, Louis Thomas, etc
Currently, Charlie is a staff pianist at the Manhattan School of Music also Pre college too. In the summer work as a collaborative pianist at Interlochen Arts Camp.

Collaborative pianist Charlie Zhang has worked in recitals, masterclass, and studios with renowned musicians, including pianist Martin Kats, Warren Jones, Rita Sloan, Alan Smith, classical voice teacher, Mignon Dunn, Cynthia Hoffmann, Christopheren Nomura, etc
