I am a classically trained violinist with a Masters Degree from Manhattan School of Music. Since graduating in 2006 I have been on tour with the river dance-like show Barrage as well as a lot of different freelance projects in NYC.
Now I am playing all kinds of different styles.
This lead to writing my own music and releasing my first album of original tunes. My release show was a mix of my bluesy, jazzy, fiddly songs, virtuosic violin playing and stories that I experienced as a foreigner (I am from Germany) in the USA. It was well received, people enjoyed themselves which is my goal! I like to share my music and show with many other people. In general enjoy variety, so another goal of mine is to put together a violin show, that puts the violin in all kinds of settings: a program that consists of classical, jazz, bluegrass, pop and more.
I am happy to adjust my show to the hosts wishes.
