About

Maddy Manning-Bi is a first year student at Columbia University and was originally born in San Jose, Costa Rica although she grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a classical singer, pianist, cellist, and dancer. While at Columbia College, Maddy will be pursuing a Creative Writing/English Literature degree while studying voice with a professor from The Juilliard School. She intends to pursue a career as a professional musician and opera singer.

Music

I have sung repertoire from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Gabriel Faure, Henry Purcell, among others. I am also experienced in musical theatre repertoire, particularly music from the Golden Age period.
