About

My name is Samuel Quiggins. I moved to NYC in 2007 to pursue a career in music. I studied cello performance at the Manhattan School of Music. I currently work full time as a freelance musician. I'm a current member of the American Pops Orchestra (PBS Resident Orchestra) and play in the folk band The Heartstrings Project. My goal is to use Groupmuse as a platform to raise and donate money to charities that are actively fighting to secure freedoms and rights for ALL communities in this country.

Music

I was trained in classical however I play a wide range of genres. I like to incorporate live looping and electronic effects which allows even more flexibility in repertoire. I love performing anything from solo looping covers of popular songs to well known (and probably a lot of not well known) classical pieces.
