Hello! My name is Felipe Garibaldi, I am a classical guitarist from São Paulo, Brazil, currently in the Baltimore/DC area, as I pursue my doctor's degree in music performance at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. I love sharing music from my home country, from Latin America, and from the many rich Iberian traditions. I believe the guitar is a vessel of cultural diversity, capable of connecting people in meaningful way.

Music

Classical guitar repertoire, particularly focused on the music from Latin America and Spain. My programs currently include composers such as Villa-Lobos, Leo Brouwer, Joaquin Turina, Agustin Barrios, and others. I am also a composer, greatly inspired by the nature of my home country. Therefore, I take my listeners to an enjoyable journey through landscapes and soundscapes of Brazil.
