About

I am a professional jazz bassist, composer and educator. I am from Copenhagen, Denmark and moved to New York recently to take advantage, and become part of the best jazz scene in the world. I have toured Europe and recorded numerous albums and worked as a musician for the past 10 years. I hold a bachelor degree from Jazz-Institute Berlin and a Masters from Manhattan School of Music here in New York where I studied under the jazz legend Buster Williams.

Music

I play anything from the most swinging jazz that inevitably makes you want to dance and draws heavily from the tradition of Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis and Lester Young, to original contemporary jazz that pushes artistic boundaries, all the way to music with a heavy emphasis on pure improvisation and experimentation.
