About

ArcoPDX stands for Amplified Repertory Chamber Orchestra of Portland. We typically perform amplified in outdoor settings or rock-concert venues, making classical chamber and orchestral music accessible to those who otherwise wouldn't come across it. Our concerts usually include a lighting, video, or sound-responsive element. We also enjoy playing in more intimate venues, allowing the acoustic qualities of our instruments to fill the space.

Music

We prefer performing emotionally-honest music by living composers—such as Arvo Pärt, Max Richter, and Alexey Kurbatov—alongside Shostakovich, Barber, and Bach.
