About

Aaron Klaus is a performer, teacher, and scholar. His research focuses on the interplay between Jewish music and Jewish identity from the mid-nineteenth century through the present. Aaron holds a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance and Maryland certification in instrumental music education from Towson University, and a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Oberlin College. He has performed with the Dearborn Symphony, the Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Endless Mountain Music Festival Orchestra, the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Orchestra, and at the National Trumpet Competition. He currently teaches instrumental music with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland.
