About

I'm an Australian classical guitarist based in NYC. I graduated my Master of Music from The Juilliard School in June 2021, where I studied under Sharon Isbin. I perform a mix of solo guitar concerts, duo guitar concerts with my brother Miles, and chamber music concerts (guitar and violin; guitar and flute; guitar and piano; guitar and voice; guitar and larger ensembles).

I'm passionate about connecting with audiences of all kinds through performances of all kinds. I regularly perform concerts, music for private events, and for community engagement.

Music

Pieces written and arranged for classical guitar solo and duet (with brother Miles Johnston) from the Renaissance period to 21st Century/contemporary works. Music from across the world including Latin America, Spain, Australia, Japan and China. Also jazz and rock influenced works.

Example composers include John Dowland, J.S. Bach, Claude Debussy, Piazzolla, Enrique Granados, Francisco Tarrega, Alberto Ginastera, Nigel Westlake and Beethoven.
