About
Perri Sussman is a versatile mezzo-soprano who has has been on the rosters of prestigious companies including New York City Opera Renaissance, St. Petersburg Opera Company, Long Island Lyric Opera, dell'Arte Opera Ensemble, Bronx Opera Company, Brott Opera, and Dicapo Opera Theatre. She was named a winner in the vocal competition for Riverside Opera Company in 2017. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in the 2011 Master Singer Finalist Concert for the Nico Castel International Master Singer Competition. She was named the 2012 Grand Prize Winner in the voice category of the Ensemble 212 Young Artist Competition. She was a finalist in the 2012 New York Lyric Opera Theatre Vocal Competition. She earned her Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor's degree from Westminster Choir College. She received the Lucille and Leo Martin Scholarship award after winning first place in the 2005 Westminster Scholarship Voice Competition.
