About

Vivian has been an auxiliary harpist with Symphony San Jose, West Bay Opera, Louisville Orchestra, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra, Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, and Carmel Symphony Orchestra. A four-time first prize winner of the Yvonne La Mothe Schwager Regional Competition, Vivian is also a 2nd prize winner of the American Harp Society National Competition and 2nd prize winner of the Aspen Music Festival Harp Concerto Competition. Vivian has performed in renowned halls all over the world, including Carnegie Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Berlin Philharmonie. Previously she was Principal Harpist of Shen Yun Performing Arts on their 2018-2019 tour, and Principal Harpist of the American Wind Symphony Orchestra on their 2017 tour. Vivian has a BA in Psychology and BA in Harp Performance from UCLA, and a MM in harp performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
