About

The Piano Pod is a trio of pianist-pedagogues: Yukimi Song, Clara Zhang, and Eric Hunter. Based in New York City, we started a podcast during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to adjust to the new musical reality. Its goals are to examine the traditions of the piano and expand them into the modern era. To this end, we interview a guest speaker who has been breaking exciting new ground in the music industry twice a month. Now that things are opening up again, we are excited to return to live performance as well!

Music

Classical piano: solo, 4-hands, and 6-hands. Sometimes we play arrangements of repertoire from other genres as well, such as our upcoming Broadway-themed concert in the fall of 2021.
