About

We are three classically trained musicians from Seattle that have discovered a mutual enthusiasm for delving into other styles of music. We play a mix of classical, folk, and jazz tunes, including original compositions written by our friends.

A recent graduate from the Juilliard School, ARIANA NELSON is the newest member of the Carpe Diem String Quartet, and also plays with the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra.

MAYA COHON began playing violin at a young age and grew up in a family of musicians. She joined the San Francisco Opera in 2017, and also plays regularly with Seattle Symphony, SF Symphony and SF Ballet.

HANA COHON is a cellist from Seattle, and her music-making has led her to perform in venues from Carnegie Hall to Shanghai Symphony Hall. She recently graduated with her Masters of Music from New England Conservatory.
