About
We are harpists Seika, Elisabeth, and a cellist (named cello!) who love to play chamber music with each other and share it with others. We are each classically trained musicians who met while completing degrees at the Colburn Conservatory of music and university of Southern California. Our recently formed group, maple ensemble, takes its name from one of Seika’s many beautiful cats, who happens to be a popular Instagram personality, who we love to visit and play with. We decided to combine our love for Maple with our passion for classical music and strive to bring high-quality classical performances to a niche audience of animal and music lovers.
Music
We perform many genres of music, mostly based on the classical repertoire, ranging from harp solos to chamber music arrangements for harp duet and harp and cello. This season we are focusing on our favorite classical repertoire staples, as well as many holiday classics.
