Hi! I'm Ion-Alexandru Malaimare, but people know me better as Nica. But I often introduce myself as Alex, so many people are confused as to what my name is. You can call me either Alex or Nica.

Right now I am doing my Doctoral studies at the University of Illinois, and hopefully will graduate soon!

I performed in some of the most beautiful venues (such as Carnegie Weill) in countries including Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Romania, the United States.
Of my recent activities, my favorite is nurturing my Youtube channel, The Eight Strings.
