Hello! My name is Matthew Jamal, and I'm a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and creative director based in NY. My solo performances utilize loop pedals and effects, and consist of all original compositions and arrangements. I write for large ensembles, film, and delve into genres including classical, folk, jazz, r&b, etc.

My own compositions (I rarely do covers). Listeners tend to describe my music as a cross between classical, jazz, and folk, though I do not like to label my music. I want the audience to come up with their own interpretation of what my music is or represents. Receive whatever it is that they need in that moment.
