Russian-American pianist and composer, Olga Simonova, wakes up deep and universal emotions with her original piano compositions. Her fervent melodies and intense harmonies create vividly memorable and cinematic images. Raised by professional musicians, she developed a love for classical music and opera which led to an interest in other art forms including musical theater, cinema and dance. Olga graduated with Master’s degree from Nizhniy Novgorod Conservatory in performing and pedagogy. She worked in Arzamas Music College, Russia where she taught piano and performed from the classical repertory. She moved to the United States twenty years ago in search for adventure and expanding her horizons. Olga has recently evolved from the traditional path of a classical pianist to writing and the performing of her own piano compositions. However, she still enjoys playing and teaching classical music.

I like to play romantic composers. Since I started to write my own music I love to share it with my audience. I was told that my music is quite cinematic
