About

I am an active oboe player and composer based in Boston. A review about one of my performances appeared on the Boston Musical Intelligencer, described me as “Nicely tuned and highly accurate in execution”. I distinguished myself as a soloist, chamber music and orchestral musician. I am currently Principal Oboe at The Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra in Massachusetts. In 2018, I had the honor to be asked to compose a music orchestral piece for the Du Bois Symphony Orchestra. I wrote a piece inspiring myself in W. E. B. Du Bois’ book “The Souls of Black Folk”, which bears the title of one of the paragraphs of the same book, "Sorrow Song". The world premiere of my piece "Sorrow Song" was performed by the Du Bois Symphony Orchestra in February 2019 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
