About
Richard Fu, pianist, has performed throughout the U.S., Europe and China. He has concertized at the Sheldonian Theatre, St. John’s Smith Square, Regents Hall, Roman Music Festival, Oxford Lieder Festival, and on tour in cities across China. Richard is a prize winner of the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition and Royal College of Music’s Kendall Taylor Beethoven Competition. He has also performed as a concerto soloist with the Oxford University Philharmonia and Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra. An active chamber musician, he has accompanied the masterclasses of Maxim Vengerov, Martin Fröst, Anne Sofie von Otter, Antonio Pappano, and performed Steve Reich’s Double Sextet during the composer’s residency at the RCM. Richard attended The Juilliard School, Oxford University, the Royal College of Music, and Dartmouth College.
