About

Melbourne-based cellist Luke Severn and New York-based pianist-composer Evan Fein follow in the 19th-century tradition of composer-virtuosi. Long-distance collaborators for some time, our duo was inaugurated in 2019 with a tour of Australia. We are reviving the program this December with appearances in New York and Los Angeles. While we're in LA, we thought we'd see if we could pick up a gig through this platform. We're around Dec 12-14 and would love to play for you!

Typically, we like to offer programs consisting of works of ours paired with complimentary works from the standard repertoire. A few favorite composers to perform Schubert and Brahms. Luke has also arranged a number of Schubert & Schumann art songs for cello and piano.
