About

Born in Halifax, NS, and now living in Toronto, ON, Amelia has a special interest in all things chamber music. She has performed frequently with Vox Aeris Trio at Toronto Groupmuse events and loves the possibilities contained within local communities.

Amelia studied at the Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School with Chris Gongos, associate principal horn of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University as well as an Artist’s Diploma from the Glenn Gould School.

Her classical training allows her to work comfortably in varying genres, ensembles, and venues across Canada. Above all, working in music serves as her connection into big hearted communities and their heroic supporters of the arts!
