About

I am a freelancer in NYC performing everything from Broadway to standard orchestra gigs, funk bands, wedding groups, chamber music, and solo opportunities. My first album As I Am is on itunes and Spotify and features new music for trumpet by women composers. My second album comes out 1/24/20 on innova records and features music inspired by politics and social concepts. My group Spark Duo with clarinetist Ford Fourqurean involves a mix of standard classical repertoire by Beethoven and Mozart with newer pieces by Jinhee Han, Inti Figgis-vizzueta, and Howie Kenty -- all pieces involving an exploration of textures, timbres, and more. Clarinetist Ford Fourqurean serves as artistic director of Unheard-of//Ensemble along with many other projects connecting contemporary music with diverse audiences. Our group had our first tour to upstate NY, VT, and Montreal this past May and we are headed in February to Arizona and New Mexico to perform at a few schools and give masterclasses in the area.

Music

My group Spark Duo has been in existence for almost a year now and we love playing contemporary classical /experimental music by young composers we know and classical hits by the greats. As a soloist, I play everything from unaccompanied trumpet music like Bach, Haydn, Scelsi and many pieces written for me by young new classical composers.
