About

Linda Alexander has performed both as orchestral musician and as chamber music artist in her home state of Connecticut and more recently in New Hampshire. She has been a member of the Norwalk Symphony, the New Britain Symphony, the Hartford Pops Band, and has performed with the Connecticut Opera. As soloist, she has performed in Connecticut on the Trinity College Summer Series, the Trinity Church (Tariffville) concert series, and recently in Hanover, NH, on the Ives concert series and on the Webster series, where she has collaborated with flutist Leslie Stroud and pianist Matthew Odell. Linda has traveled to France and England to perform in the International Music Academy (Colombes) and the Oxford Summer School (Oxford, England). Linda received her Bachelors of Music and History from Trinity College (Hartford) and her Masters degrees from New York University (Arts Administration) and the Hartt School (Flute/performance).
